Some people take the news that their wife wants to divorce them quite badly. They often cry, beg, shout and maybe even throw things. It can be traumatic.

Forty-Five year old James Scott Whitler reacted very badly to the news that his wife wanted a divorce, he beat the guy who told him to death with a baseball bat. What’s that about don’t shoot the messenger? James then went on to strangle his own children to the point that they passed out, before being Tasered by the police.

He is now being held on charges of murder and attempted murder. His two children, 12 and 10, are in hospital.

Fifty-Seven year old Stephen D. Allen arrived at James’ house to serve the divorce papers, before being attacked and murdered with a bat.

It makes you wonder why his wife wanted a divorce?
