divorce advice and tales of woe

Roger Federer yesterday became the ‘best player of all time’ in an epic 5 set encounter with American Andy Roddick in the Wimbledon final. It was the ultimate accolade for a man already level with ‘Pistol’ Pete Sampras, a true great of the modern game whose record in the 90s and earlier 21st century was the best in the game.

Federer has now beaten Roddick in 3 Wimbledon finals but this by far should be the icing on the cake. Federer has also won praise for his greatness as a person, a man, a husband and soon to be father. This blog concentrates on divorce but Federer has a wife who is 100% behind his commitment to the sport of tennis. Federer was worried that his wife Miroslava ‘Mirka’ would go into labour during the final and was arm-in-arm with her at last nights Wimbledon Winners Party. BBC coverage yesterday afternoon suggested that Federer’s pre-match tennis warm up partner kept a mobile phone in his sock in case of any emergency calls about ‘Mirka’ going into labour.

Despite the 15 majors he now has to his name, and being one of only 6 players to win all 4 grand slams, Federer plans to continue playing for years to come with the support of his wife, and plans to be on the circuit long enough to play in front of his new born as he picks up even more acclaim and further honours in the future.

No Divorce here then!!!
