Damien Hurst may be famous for cutting a cow in half and displaying it as a piece of modern art, but a Serbian cow faces the same fate due to the ruling in Branko Zivkov’s divorce settlement.

A court has ruled that he has divide up all of his possessions 50/50 to give to his ex-wife, which he was quite happy with, until they said he also had to give her half of his farming equipment.

This outraged Branko Zivkov as much as it would any man, prompting him to buy a grinder and smash up all of his farm equipment, giving her half of every tool. His cow however, has yet to be divided up. He told a local newspaper:

“I still haven’t decided how to split the cow. She should just say what she wants – the part with the horns or the part with the tail.”

Good work Branko, cut everything in half right down the middle for her!
